2024 Year in Review

As we reflect on 2024, we are deeply grateful for everyone who made this year impactful. Whether you’ve been a dedicated donor, offered support when needed or helped as a friend, advocate, volunteer or partner, your contribution has made a difference.

Whistleblowing is essential for justice but comes with significant personal sacrifice. With your support, TSN has helped whistleblowers navigate these challenges. Here’s a look at some highlights from 2024:

  • Responded to 151 requests for support, a 48% increase from 2023.
  • Supported 40 individuals across more than 10 countries with comprehensive services (legal, psychosocial, security, media, and employment support).
  • Secured pro bono support for over 70% of clients through our strong network of partners.
  • Facilitated 15+ major investigations published in global media outlets.
  • Protected whistleblowers primarily from tech (35%) and healthcare (14%) sectors, highlighting growing needs in these industries.
  • Participated in 10 international events to educate journalists, partners, and the public about whistleblower protection.
