New Programs. New Partnerships. New Faces.
Protecting Whistleblowers and Sources at GIJC 2025
Next month, we’ll be taking part in the 2025 Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Kuala Lumpur. Our Executive Director, Delphine Halgand-Mishra, will join the session “Source Safeguarding: Protecting Whistleblowers and Leaks” on Saturday, November 22.
Moderated by Sandrine Rigaud, Program Director at GIJN, the session brings together leading voices including Runa Sandvik, Founder of Granitt, Arnaud Ouédraogo, Coordinator of CENOZO and Paul Radu, Co-Founder and Head of Innovation at OCCRP. They will explore the rising risks whistleblowers face and share practical strategies, from digital security to legal safeguards, to help reporters protect their sources and continue vital public interest reporting safely.
Exciting New Training for Journalists Coming Soon
The Signals Network is teaming up with the Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) to launch a new online training program for journalists, an important step in supporting reporters and the people who make truth-telling possible. The training will give journalists the concrete tools and expert knowledge they need to report safely and responsibly, keeping their work effective and their sources protected.
We invite you to share the pre-registration link with anyone who might find it useful. By amplifying this program, you help it reach the people who can benefit most.
We would also love to hear from you if you would like more information or have any thoughts to share.
