New Whistleblower Truth, Midyear Impact & Free Resource Inside
TSN – supported whistleblower Victoria Flores must be protected for her revelations about the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office
On July 7, 2025, The Desert Sun reported on a whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, violation of civil rights and gender discrimination lawsuit filed against Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, Undersheriff Don Sharp, Assistant Sheriff Herman Lopez and the County of Riverside Corrections Department by a former employee. The plaintiff is Victoria Flores, a “highly respected and principled Sheriff’s Captain with an unblemished record of integrity and professionalism over her decades of service to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office,” as stated in the complaint.
The Signals Network (TSN) represents Victoria Flores and has provided legal and security support to her and her family as they navigate the pressing challenges of blowing the whistle.

We’re showing up every day.

TSN’s WPP Director Speaks at National Whistleblower Day 2025
Yesterday, our Whistleblower Protection Program Director, Margaux Ewen, spoke at National Whistleblower Day 2025, organized by the National Whistleblower Center on Capitol Hill. A longtime advocate for press freedom, human rights and the protection of those who expose wrongdoing, Margaux joined leading voices in honoring whistleblowers and the critical role they play in holding power to account.
“The next time you read a compelling newstory, revealing wrongdoing on a massive scale… ask yourself what it might have cost that person to have told a story that directly impacted your life. Ask yourself what might be necessary to hold that entity accountable for its wrongdoing – so that the whistleblower behind it doesn’t stand alone. We need to start thinking outside the box because the old playbook no longer applies.” Margaux said during the panel.
We’re proud to see our work and our team represented at this important event, alongside speakers including Senator Chuck Grassley, Senator Ron Wyden, Dan Kokotajlo, Dr. Tommie “Toni” Savage, Jane Turner.
